On the last few miles before Kelso Depot, the wind is so strong that I can barely maintain 7 miles per hour

I'm a little concerned about all this wind because I have 35 miles more ahead of me today. But high winds are a fact of life out here in the Mojave Desert, and I've been lucky this past week to not have too much of it to deal with.

The old three-way stop sign in front of Kelso Depot has apparently been removed and replaced by "slow" signs instead. The former "stop ahead" paint on Kelbaker Road here has been removed.
